My Hip Baby in pictures

In our first Pavlik Harness
2 weeks old. So small.
4 weeks old. New harness.
almost 3 months old. At CHOP for an ultrasound.
Finally allowed out of the pavlik for my first ever bath. I wasn't too happy.
All better.
The pavlik harness uniform: Onesie and babylegs
8 weeks old. Pavlik fail. Onto the abduction brace.
Trying out the Hippo Car Seat. It sucks.
Waiting for surgery
I'll just chew on my fingers since they won't let me eat.
Hanging with Daddy
Momma says no one takes me away from her, so she's coming with me.
In the PACU
It's okay Momma. I've got you.
Snuggling with Daddy.
I've got my toys - so I'm still happy!
My cast is in a funny position, so I don't fit in any car seats. Going home by ambulance.
I'm home!!
Daddy made me a fun bar to hang my toys from while I'm in my bean bag chair.
We borrowed this McClaren chair from mommy's friend. I fit perfectly!
I still don't have a car seat - so the local ambulance company is taking me to my doctor's appointments.
Daddy is making me an activity table and chair!
It's all done!!
I finally got a new car seat! It's a Hope Car Bed. Thank you so much Merritt Manufacturing for customizing it and Michael's Feat for buying it for us!!
We wound up at CHOP in the ER on Memorial Day because I had a growth spurt and  my cast got too tight on my leg.
Waiting for my new cast on June 3.
In the PACU, snuggling with Momma.
My new cast. We hate this one. The diaper hole is too small. Yuck.
We went for a walk on the boardwalk. This is moments before my first ever poopsplosion all the way up the back of the cast. In public. On the boardwalk. Mommy got weird looks in the bathroom. Oh - and I JUST got this cast. Ugh.
The good news is that my new cast is in the perfect position for riding a horse!
Snoozing on my couch nest.
We couldn't live without my Ergo!
Some belly time before my cast comes off.
My very last diaper change in the cast!!
July 13th - Independence Day!!
It was really scary.
Look at my legs!!! On our way home!
4 weeks after my spica cast came off, I finally tasted my toes, for the first time!

Sleeping in my abduction brace.

Learning to crawl!

Crawling away from Momma... i'm not going to bed. No way!

Learning how to walk in my abduction brace!

First steps! Take THAT Hip Dysplasia! :)

9 Months and 18 days after her cast came off. It's oficial. We have a walker!
